An investment of about 38 million MDL from the National Fund for Regional Development is for rehabilitation and development of local and regional road infrastructure in Hîrtop village, Cimislia district

Mrs.Maria Culeşov, the director of the RDA South, together with project management specialists, have carried out a monitoring visit to Hîrtop village, Cimişlia district, to check the progress within the project funded by the NFRD "Development of the business infrastructure by connecting localities and local roads on the Corridor 20 - DR South, R34-Sîrma-Tomai-Sărăteni-Hîrtop - to the national road network", implemented by the Regional Development Agency South. The project values about 38 million MDL and it is included in the Single Programming Document for 2017-2020 years.

The expected outcomes of this project are:

  • 3.1 km of road Hîrtop-Mereni built;
  • 2.02 km of rehabilitated road from the center of Hîrtop - to the national road R3
  • 2-4 newly created permanent job-places (for the maintenance of the built road)

At this moment, the economic operator is doing massive earthworks by carrying out roadbeds, stretching and compressing the earth and the various road layers for the road foundation. At the same time, the builders are assembling the edges to the road section from the center of Hîrtop village. The works are executed by "ACIT-TRANS" LLC, the director is Gheorghe Negură.


The investment project "Development of the business infrastructure by connecting localities and local roads on the Corridor 20 - DR South, R34-Sîrma-Tomai-Sărăteni-Hîrtop - to the national road network" is implemented from National Fund for Regional Development and it is directly involved in ensuring a sustainable connectivity between the economically advanced localities of the South Development Region and contributing to the growth of the economic potential of the cites.
