RDA South has Launched a New Public Bidding Procedure for the Acquisition of Construction Supervision Services within the „Construction of the Leova - Iargara Aqueduct” Project

On January 3, the Regional Development Agency South, as contracting authority, launched a new public bidding procedure, initiated for the acquisition of construction supervision services within the „Construction of the Leova - Iargara aqueduct" project (REPEATED), implemented with the support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ).

 Although, previously six economic operators requested for tender documents in contracting of construction supervision services within the "Construction of the Leova - Iargara aqueduct" project, at the public bidding have participated representatives of five companies: "Construction and Engineering" LLC, "Imoproiect" LLC, "Aldicons" LLC, "Preant" LLC and "Verluxcons" LLC.

Mr. Dorin Coroian, the working group secretary and purchasing specialist at the RDA South, has opened the bidding, highlighting its purpose and presenting the technical data of the works, which was the subject of the bidding. At the same time, the secretary presented the members of the working group and mentioned that the bidding was organized according to the legal provisions, open tender being chosen.

The Working Group on Procurement has started the repeated procedure of opening each submitted offer for the acquisition of the works supervision services within the "Construction of Leova - Iargara aqueduct" project.

The Working Group will analyze the bids in details for the award of the winning company according to the provisions set out in the tender documents and the additions made at the opening of the bid, with which the bidders agreed.

The "Construction of Leova-Iargara aqueduct" project is part of the "Modernization of the Local Water Supply Services (WSS) in Leova district" project. The total value of the contract is about 3 million Euros and it is financially supported by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The Leova - Iargara aqueduct of about 23.0 km length will connect Leova and Iargara towns, Filipeni, Romanovca, Sărata Nouă, Hanăsăseni Noi and Cupcui villages. This project aims to bring benefits to those about 23,433 citizens from Leova district.
