On February, the 1st, about 250 economic operators from Moldova and partner countries participated at the International Business Forum - "Investing in Business, Investing in Future". The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova with the support of Enterprise Europe Network, the Regional Development Agency South, Cahul, Cimișlia, Leova, Taraclia and Basarabeasca District Councils, in the framework of the XVII-th edition of the National Exhibition "MADE IN MOLDOVA".

"Today's event aims to contribute to strengthening and improving economic relations between companies from Moldova and potential partners from Romania, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran and other countries. This is possible by encouraging the competitiveness of products and services, as a result of the growth of their competitiveness by creating a platform for discussion and presenting the investment opportunities of the Development Region South of the Republic of Moldova," said Mr. Sergiu Harea.

According to the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this event is the second one after the international forum dedicated to the promotion of the regional economy that took place on June 7, 2017, in Bălți municipality. The first event resulted in promising results for the companies from the Region North of the country.

Mrs. Iulia Costin, the State General Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, has mentioned: "This forum is important for the development and the modernization of the economy. Vasile Plămădeală said that 15% of all products for export belong to the machine-building industry, wiring, etc., the products that are new on the market of the Republic of Moldova.
