Monitoring Visits for The Projects from Căușeni District, Financed from NFRD

On June 12, 2018, the specialists from the Development Agency South carried out monitoring visits for two projects. The agency was represented by: Mr Andrei Popușoi, the head of Project Management Department; Mr Nicolae Cotruță, Mr Andrei Tomescu and Mrs Viorica Cuţitaru, specialists in drafting, implementing and monitoring projects.

First, the RDA South representatives visited the project "Opportunities for Investment Attractiveness in the Economy of the Development Region South", which foresees the construction of the networks, communications, the access road, and the landscaping of the Căușeni Branch of the Free Economic Zone Bălți, for which the works started.

This project has a total value of 18,620.18 thousand MDL: 10,120.18 thousand MDL from NFRD and 8,500.00 thousand MDL - the contribution of Căușeni district council. This year, 1 million MDL are given for executing works.

Another visit was undertaken in order to monitor the works within the project "Construction of sewerage system in Traian valley area and the modernization of the sewerage treatment plant from Căuşeni”, the works of which have been already completed.

It worth mentioning that the project "Construction of sewerage system in Traian valley area and the modernization of the sewerage treatment plant from Căuşeni”, included in the Single Programming Document 2017-2020 and financed by the National Fund for Regional Development, consists of two stages. The first stage means the construction of a sewerage system in a sector of Căuşeni town of about 9 km, the beneficiaries being about 2000 citizens, the total cost of the implementing this stage of the project is 8.33 million MDL.
