THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE INFORMATION AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGN BY THE DISTRICT OF CAHUL CITIZENS REGARDING WATER AND SEWAGE SERVICES

Regional Center CONTACT-Cahul and the Cahul District Council in collaboration with project partners will launch an information campaign and awareness for Cahul district water and sanitation services. The campaign aims at raising awareness of the population about the benefits of a modern system of drinking water supply and sanitation.

The launch event will be held 4 March, 2014, in the meeting room of the District Council, second floor starting at 13.00. representatives are invited from the local public administration level II and I of Cahul, project partners, representatives of educational institutions, environmental NGOs, local media, donors, regional and other interested persons. The Conference will be addressing the following topics:

1. General information for the participant's activities in the Cahul information and awareness campaign.

2. The official launch of the campaign image: logo, slogan and the ad spot.

3. The official launch of the contest of designs for children and youth from the District of Cahul.

The information and awareness campaign by the citizens of District of Cahul is organized in collaboration with the South Regional Development Agency, Cahul District Council, the Cahul Public Health Center, Cahul Environmental Agency, Cahul Education Directorate, Cahul Association of Mayors, Cahul Mayor's Office, Municipal Enterprise "Water-Sewer" Cahul and news portal www.ziuadeazi.md , with the support of the German AGENCY for INTERNATIONAL Development (GIZ) within the project "Modernization Of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova".
