Unique event organized in Cahul for the International Day of the Child

On 1 June 2014 CRAION CONTACT-Cahul and campaign partners for "Quality Water in Your Locality" organized a special event dedicated to International Children's Day. The good fairy, clowns, CONTACT-Cahul volunteers and talented children in the district, brought maximum intensity to the event.
The partner institutions in the campaign were identified as well special prizes from these institutions-the German Agency for International Development - GIZ, the South Regional Development Agency, the General Consulate of Cahul, Cahul District Council, the City of Cahul, Cahul Public Health Centre, "Apa-Canal-Cahul", and the Cahul-CONTACT Center.

Thus, the South RDA awarded the authors of three designs that were representatives from each  age bracket. The prize for the most active Town Hall "was the Mayor's Office from the village of Colibași.

The highlight of the event was a great spectacle offered by singer Adrian Ursu.

The June 1 event in Cahul was successful because it has allowed the successful merging of activities to promote the purpose and message of the campaign, by stimulating interest and participation of children to understand local issues and to acquire ecological norms of behavior; the positive emotions and pleasant memories will remain in the memory of the children, the young people and adults that participated in the event.
