A committee has been launched for strategic planning in the south region

Cimișlia /12 June 2014/ The Committee for Strategic Planning in the South Region met today for their first session.

The strategic planning Committee of the South RDA , representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, the District Councils in the region,  the academia, the  civil society, the private sector, and the specialists in strategic planning from the South RDA, addressed issues relating to the elaboration of the Regional Development Strategy 2020 South (RDS).

During the meeting of 11 February South CRD 2014, District Councils members approved the Committee for Strategic Planning Regulation and action plan relating to the elaboration of the Regional Development Strategy 2020 South (RDS).

At the beginning of the event, Ms. Efrosinia Grețu, Chairman of the Committee for the South RDC said, "it's the first meeting of this kind and we will work hard to achieve the proposed objectives. This initiative was addressed at the meeting in February. South RDC together with South RDA has a competent and responsible team. We feel the work of this Committee (strategic planning) will make good results and will benefit the entire region. "

Specialists of strategic planning within the South RDA presented the structure of RDS 2020 South section "Socio-Economic Analysis ".

The committee meeting addressed issues related to further cooperation in sectorial regional programming, developing a regional guide, promoting tourism and other topics of interest to South LPA.

The next meeting of the Committee for Strategic Planning in the South Region will take place in September, in order to connect the activities related to development of South 2020 RDS.
