Several meetings of the Working Group on Procurement in the field of Water Supply and Sewerage were organized in Cimislia within the regional development projects implemented in the Development Region South.

At the first meeting, the Working Group on Procurement started the procedure of opening the submitted tenders within public bidding for construction works within the "Construction of the local aqueduct network at the main aqueduct in Lebedenco commune, Cahul district (Step 1) " investment measure.

The bid values, alternative offers, including their core values and characteristics, the existence of the required participation guarantees and other details that the tender committee considered important and necessary were disclosed.

In the coming days, the Evaluating Committee will examine how each bid meets the requirements set out in the tender documents, and then will examine, clarify and evaluate the bids in detail.

At the second meeting, the working group examined the up-to-date situation within the "Connecting of individual households to the centralized sewerage system in Rosu village" investment measure, "Improvement of water and sewerage services in the Cahul district" project.

This investment measure is financed by the Government of Romania (190,000 Euro) through the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ), and by the contribution of the citizens (about 500,000 MDL).

442 households, 135 apartments of three residential blocks from Rosu village, Cahul district, will benefit from this investment measure.
