Cimișlia, 18 June 2014 A Czech delegation led by Vice President of the Czech Senate Premysl Sobotca, together with five Senators, representatives of the Commission for the Economy, Agriculture and Transport, His Excellency, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Moldova, Jaromir, Kvapil took today to have a working visit in the South Region. The event was attended by Representatives of the Cimișlia District Council, the Mayor of Cimișlia, Specialists from the South Regional Development Agency (South RDA), and local entrepreneurs. The Czech official said that the first time visit to Moldova, even at Government level, the Czech Republic and Moldova have had a fruitful collaboration. “It is not in vain to go outside the capital. For potential investors it is important to know reality, especially since we aim to visit the water purification station in the District of Cimișlia, which was built with the support of the Czech Republic. You need to establish and strengthen relationships at the level of States, and by the community and not the last, through the South Regional Development Agency ", concluded the official. For her part, the Director of the RDA South, Mrs. Maria Culeșov appreciated the support given by the Czech people not just for South Region, but also for the entire country. The South RDA Director listed the common activities of the Agency with the Czech Agency in development with the Czech Embassy and expressed her belief that the collaboration will expand in domains and in duration. The Czech delegation visited water purification station in in the District of Cimișlia, and the Village of Huluboaia in the District of Cahul, which is inhabited by ethnic Czechs.
