The RDA South specialists, local project managers, as well as national and regional consultants MSPL / GIZ, recently held a working session with IDIS "Viitorul" representatives, where the activity report for the III-rd quarter of 2018 of the mentioned NGO was examined.
At the same meeting, those present assessed the degree of involvement of civil society, in the Development Region South, in the implementation of the Water Supply and Sewerage (WSS) projects in Leova and Cahul districts, and two Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings Projects.
Mr Liubomir Chiriac, IDIS "Viitorul" expert, reported about the NGO's participation at planning and programming integrated activities at the local level, to improve the cooperation between LPAs. Also, he pointed out the actions that has been carried out or is to carry out by the institution he represents in: monitoring acquisitions, LPAs and service providers capacity building, mobilizing and raising awareness of the population.
One of the topics of the meeting were IDIS "Viitorul" support in strengthening the role of Regional Development Council South and the Regional Sectorial Committees in the fields of Water Supply and Sewerage Services, Waste Management, creation of a communication platform for Civil Society Organizations at II Level of LPA and Development Region South.
We mention that "IDIS Viitorul" NGO was selected by the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ), in order to promote the involvement of civil society in the process of providing modern local public services in the Development Region South.
